The infamous Dewitt Middle School as seen during the spring.
DeWitt Middle School
Dewitt Middle School is a part of the Ithaca City School District, located in the Finger Lakes Area. Among other things, Ithaca is most famous for Cornell University and Ithaca College.
Dewitt Middle School's students are often known for their dedication and excellence. They work hard to reach their goals every single day, and strive to be better. Such student organizations like Student Council show our ability to self-govern. Besides Student Council, many other organizations exist, like the Technology Student Association, Books R Us, the Nation Junior Honor Society, Marine Science Club, The Yearbook Club, and many more.
Dewitt's music, art, technology, and drama programs rate among the best in the country. It also has a very large ESOL population representing about 30 different languages, and we celebrate our diversity with projects like the Immigration Project, or hosting events like International Night.
Overall, Dewitt is a school where all teachers and students are happy to be in, and it grows better every day.
